Your First Visit to Our Grand Island Practice
If you’re visiting with us for the first time, we’d like you to know exactly what to expect at Grand Island Chiropractic. We want to provide you with a rewarding experience. It’s our desire that you feel welcome and supported every step of the way.
Many of our patients describe our Grand Island chiropractic care center as being welcoming and comfortable. Dr. Tim’s dad, who was a home builder, designed and erected our current clinic in 1983. His vision was to create a warm, healing environment where people loved to congregate, rather than a sterile, industrial-style structure. We hope you’ll love it as we do.
ONLINE FORMS
Your first visit will take approximately 60 -75 minutes. Upon entering the clinic, you’ll be warmly greeted by one of our friendly office staff. We will have paperwork for you to fill out if you haven’t already done so online, and collect your insurance information.
One of the doctors will then conduct a thorough evaluation, including
- A consultation
- An orthopedic and neurological examination
- Digital x-rays, if needed
You’ll then receive a report of findings, which is a review of your examination and imaging results. Your spouse or significant other is welcome to join us at this time.
A gentle adjustment will then be delivered, followed by appropriate therapy to assist you in eliminating your pain quickly. Our therapy rooms are separate from our treatment rooms, completely private, and outfitted with high-tech chairs to ensure your complete comfort.
While you’re receiving your first therapy, the doctor will come in to discuss a customized treatment plan. The plan will help you recover in the shortest amount of time possible, with the least expense.
One of our staff will also review the doctor’s recommendations for home care. These include instructions for heat and ice therapy, stretching and strengthening exercises, nutritional information and suggestions for lifestyle modification.
Your visit will conclude with a short visit with our financial manager, who will discuss your insurance coverage and our affordable payment plans options.
Regular visits usually take about 30 minutes and include an adjustment and 20 minutes of therapy. We respect your time, and will always strive to honor your appointment booking.
